How to Sell a Little Skin
The MatTek Corporation sells products like EpiDermFT™ and EpiVaginal™ Tissue Models - samples of human tissue for medical use. This isn't new or appalling (to me), but I was surprised by the snazzy marketing. Technical specifications, intermittently capitalized trade names and extensive product descriptions almost obscure the fact that they're selling pieces of, well, people. Some of the close-up photos are beautiful..:link:.
