Nintendo Claims Gamers Not Ready for Networked Play, Color Graphics
I know that Nintendo is currently the Mike Tyson of the console gaming world (confused, child-like, washed up, just go with it), but c'mon! Their American VP of Marketing thinks that online gaming is just too darned complicated for our pixel-tanned brethren:
"we just don't believe consumers are ready for [online gaming]. Right now, no one's paying for subscriptions. The real test comes when you have to start coughing up $15 a month.".:link:.

Truth be told, who wants to pay $15/month on top of the $49.95-$69.95 they charge for those silly games? Go the Evercrack model...sell the game on the cheap and the lock them into their character. Buwahahahahahaha
